Today is my 5th anniversary with #younglivingessentialoils For those of you who don’t know my story, I attended a class taught by someone whom I had no idea who and heard about an oil that can kill germs. That’s the only knowledge I had going into this. So I sat there with a very fussy 4 month old listening to my now sister @beth.feigner share how she uses her oils for herself and family. As she shared, I remember feeling like I could relate to her on many things like emotions and hormones. Of course, at this time in my life as a new momma and had recently walked away from my career, I had a pit of emotions to work through. My body was very unbalanced and my doctor wanted me to get on a mild version of an antidepressant and birth control. This oil thing was my challenge against the things we hold as normal... so I took the plunge... and hello, a diffuser 😉 Long story short, 5 years later I gained a sisterhood, some of my closest friends, a successful residual income, as well as gained an abundant of leadership & teamwork skills. I’ve grown, I’ve battled cancer on my oily journey, I’ve birthed another baby naturally on this journey, I’ve grieved for loved ones on this journey, and literally fought the devil countless times. For me, it’s been more than just oils, it’s been a lifestyle. Thank you to those who joined with me, trusted me, and for those who have supported me 💜 #oilyversary
The Patch adventure 🎃
Trying to get as much gardening done before the rains came, except when it came it got me good. The boy and I continued to work but we got hit with a major downfall. We were covered in mud, noses running but still laughing and having a good time. I called it quits and we both went in for a hot shower and tea. Then this... the friggen sun came out and I’m back in leggings and a sweater 😂 At least the sun came to give her last burst of glow before she heads to bed. How lucky am I this view is from my front porch 😊 ☕️
I’ve been sharing all things cleaning today in my insta stories... and now, I give you #everclear ⚡️ Mopping has turned to an extreme sport for me since we moved to the mountains. Mud, dirt, dust... it’s a daily thing and mopping is a frequent task. Recently, I learned how to make my own perfume using oils and everclear, and as I was learning all things alcohol, I found cleaning with it is much powerful than vinegar. So I traded my vinegar + thieves household cleaner mop blend and replaced vinegar with everclear. Huge difference! Vinegar would leave streaks and on this style/color of wood we chose for our home it makes steaks SUPER obvious. With the everclear mix not only does it not leave streaks but it dries my floors up faster than you can finish the alphabet! This combo is THE BEST! Again, capful of Thieves to 16 parts water, and a splash of everclear 😉 If you need more proof, I recommend doing research on the benefits of using everclear in home 😊
